Today was 10 Miles Long. Rob had 8 to do so we set out to one of our park/trails that is a bit more safe (as far as parks go). It was 74 degrees and 6 mph winds. Looks like we will get to go flying and boating today too so a great weekend all around!
Here is how Week 1.1 of training went:
M: Bike 4.5 miles (18mph pace, P1, L4), Walk 1 mile (7% incline, 13:56 pace), Leg Strengthening and Abs
T: 6 Miles Easy (Treadmill, 1% incline, 8:49 pace)
W: 3.66 Miles (Treadmill, 1% incline, 8:27 pace)
R: Rest
F: 3 Miles Easy (‘Hood, 62 degrees 8mph winds, 8:42 pace), Upper Body and Abs
Sa: .35 (Warm Up, 9:15 pace), 3.1 Miles Race (7:40 pace)
Su: 10 Miles Long (Park, 74 degrees 6mph winds, 8:53 pace)
Total Running Miles: 26.11
dang your speedy! great job with week one! i ran 10 today too! i tried to follow the training rules and go slower for my LR.. it was SUPER hard! 🙂 your gonna rock chicago!flying wait wait wait? you guys have a plane? how fricken sweet! i'm gonna email you– i wonder how far away you live from me! 🙂

I can't get my LR's to slow down and it's hard. I have my Garmin, but going slower is so difficult sometimes. I think as the distance gets longer I'll naturally slow down.CJ

Oh and yep we do have a plane. I just wish the weekend weather would stay nice enough for us to get some flying done.CJ
