Chicago Marathon Training: Week 1.2 Complete

Another great training week completed! Tomorrow will begin the official start of my 16 week program, I’ve just been doing week 1 two extra times while I waited for my plan to kick in.

Here is how the week looked:
M: Bike Easy 11.7 Miles (17.55 mph, P1, L4), Abs
T: 6 Miles Easy (Treadmill, 1% incline, 8:54 pace)
W: 5 Miles Easy (Company Lake, 84 degrees and humid, 9:00 pace)
R: 5 Miles Tempo (Treadmill, 1% incline, 8:21 pace w/3 Miles @ 8:00 pace)
F: Rest
Sa: .66 Mile Warm Up (10:13 pace), 15K Race (hilly, 9:05 pace)
Su: Bike Light Hills 7.9 Miles (15.8 mph, P2, L4), Abs and Arms

Total Miles: 25.98

Niketown has started selling the Chicago Marathon training merchandise so I have bought one of everything for me and Rob. From the first shipment here is my running tech-T. It’s a bit see through, which isn’t great, but at least it won’t be hot while training in the hotter months.
