Chicago Marathon Training: Week 1.3 Day 2.3

Today was 6 Miles Easy and I ran on the treamill. To make things different I toggled my incline between 1% and 1.5% every few minutes and also varied my speed slightly.

6 Miles Easy (Treadmill, 1-1.5% incline, 8:42 pace)

  1. hey training buddy.i woke up @ 5am and busted out 6miles on the tm too! @8:40 pace! we should have ran side by side! hahaha :)way to go!

Meredith – normally I zone out or think about various things I need to get done around the house, etc. This last run I was a bit bored so I touched the treadmill buttons about every 1/4 mile and either changed the speed or incline. Plus I try to vary my music playlists to try and help too.Nicole – too funny! I'm sure the time would have flown by if we were running together too!CJ
