Chicago Marathon Training: Week 7 Day 2

Rob and I got signed up for a 10K over Labor Day weekend. Rob also changed his USAF registration from the 5K to the Half Marathon. I’m so excited he will be out there running it too!

We also went ahead and signed up for Rock and Roll Chicago Half Marathon for 2010! We loved the race and they were offering a good deal on early regisration for those who ran this year.

Today was:

Bike Easy 5.1 Miles (P1, L4, 15.3mph), To Warm Up
4 Miles Easy (Treadmill, 1% incline, 8:50 pace)

So far the new shoes are working great! Right now they feel really good so I’ll be trying them outside here soon.

  1. Nice – you have some good races in the future! Good work on getting Hubs to sign up for a half! Good luck with the 10k – Labor Day will be here before we know it!

  2. I think having races to look forward to makes all the difference. We have one coming up in late Aug and then we'll be looking for some great fall races.
