This week was light running wise. I was super busy and missed 9 miles of easy running. Not the end of the world so I wasn’t too worried about it.
Here is how the week ended up:
M: Upper Body Weights
T: Rest
W: 8 Miles Easy (Work Lake, 1:12:09, 9:02 pace)
R: Rest
F: Rest
Sa: 13.1 Miles Race (USAF HM, 1:51:51, 8:33 pace)
Su: Bike Easy 8.5 Miles (30 mins, P1, L4, 17mph)
Total: 21.1
As we taper for Chicago Marathon we plan to stay busy house projects and getting ready for the upcoming holidays.
Sounds like a fabulous week!! Here's to tapering 🙂

What do you plan to do once the marathon is over? I have loved reading about your training. You deserve so much respect for your hard work.

Hey Meredith,Actually we are figuring that out now. We will take about 4 weeks to run a recovery plan. Then that leaves us about 12 weeks until our next big race. We are up in the air if at the next event if we will do the full or the half. Just planning it out against the other races we want to do in 2010.CJ

Hi there! I just saw your comment on my blog! Such a small world. I was looking through your races – you've done an awesome job. I only hope to be able to run a half marathon next year:)

Paige – Any ideas on which HM you would attempt? The one in Champaign is really good and it's fairly local.CJ
