2009 Festival Of Lights – 4 Mile – 27:39

Today was a 4 mile race out of town. The race start and finish are not in the same location and they had busses to take us to the start line. The course is on a paved trail that goes through town and is a gradual downhill most of the race. The weather was perfect, 40 degrees, sunny, no wind. They had a chip finish this year which was very nice.

Rob and I both PRed!

Rob coming into the finish. Rob came in at 26:48.

Me coming into the finish. I was 27:39.

I also got 1st in my age group!

Rob won one of the give aways for $20 to the local running store, score!

Me with my medal:

Stats:
27:39
6:55 pace
F 30-34: 1/21
F: 14/100
Overall: 83/439

  1. Congrats on the PR and great job on the 4 mile race! That distance for a race seems perfect – not too short and not too long!
