Mercedes Marathon Training: Week 9 Day 3

Today’s workout was 10 Miles VO2 Max W/4 X 1200M @ 5K Pace and then some push ups. This run was awesome because it felt like it woke my legs up. I felt challenged but at the same time stronger if that makes any sense.

Over the weekend I had got another pair of my LunarGlides in the same color (white with orange) because my other ones had reached 300 miles. 300 miles has seemed to work the best for me for switching out. Well then we were out getting Rob’s shoes and I came across a new color combo so naturally they had to come home too. So I’m good on shoes for awhile. And normally when it’s comes to running I’m not too worried about being matchy. I’ll just wear whatever works that day, but I did get excited when I pulled out a pair of my Nike shorts and saw how they looked with my shoes. It made me smile. 🙂

And yes my shoe size is huge. Plus I also wear a whole size bigger in these to have enough space in the toe.

  1. Wow, your shoes come in such fun colors! My running shoe of choice comes in only two options (and I rarely see the second ever for sale), plus it's the guy's version due to my big feet, so I think that reduces the color choices even more :b

  2. oooh you shouldn't have mentioned anything about a marathoning book… my kindle obsession is raging. Within minutes of seeing your comment about the book I went to amazon and in 1-click had the book sent to my kindle. This is bad…

  3. I love how they match. Very stylish. lolDon't feel bad about having a huge shoes size. I wear a size 8 in regular shoes but a 9.5 in running shoes! Well, at least in Brooks Adrenalines.
