IL Marathon Recovery: Week 1 Day 4

Yesterday Rob and I ran 4.08 Miles Recovery outside in the neighborhood. The run went as expected, my legs felt stiff and full like lead. Various parts (ankles, IT Bands, top of feet) all ached at different times during the run and then seemed to shake out. It feels so good being outside running in the middle of the work week.

I woke up today being less stiff, each day is better. Tonight I did 45 Minutes Easy on the Bike and kicked up the intensity up a tiny notch. Then I did some light strength training:

2 Sets, 15 Reps, Chest Press, Bowflex

2 Sets, 15 Reps, Chest Flys, Bowflex

2 Sets, 12 Reps, Tricep Ext, Free Weight – 5lbs, Standing One Leg on BOSU

1 Set, 30 Reps, Roman Chair Sit Ups
