So obviously based on Sunday’s splat I am not yet running, but my arms aren’t broke! So that means upper body workout today!
I took Monday off and totally vegged. Today I did a bunch of upper body strengthening to keep not just my fitness going, but to also cope with not being able to run.
I did the following:
2 Sets, 15 Reps, Hammer Curls, Free Weights (FW), 8lbs Each Arm (EA)
2 Sets, 15 Reps, Bicep Curls, FW, 8lbs EA
2 Sets, 15 Reps, Triceps Extension, FW, 8lbs EA
2 Sets, 15 Reps, Upright Rows, FW, 16lbs
2 Sets, 15 Reps, Front Delt, FW, 8lbs EA
2 Sets, 15 Reps, Shoulder Raises, FW, 8lbs EA
2 Sets, 15 Reps, Shrugs, FW, 16lbs
2 Sets, 25 Reps, Side Bends, 16lbs
2 Sets, 25 Reps, Sit Ups, BOSU
2 Sets, 15 Reps, Shoulder Press, 16lbs
It feels so good to be working out in any capacity at this point. I hope each day keeps improving so I can continue to move forward.

Hey Rebecca! This injury is no picnic. No running yet, but I can walk around work. I can almost bend my knee to 90 degrees, but I can’t get enough range of motion to use the bike yet. I’m not a very patient person, but every day there is improvement!
