My Kind Of Reading

Ah the classics: Running Books, Runner’s World, Running Times

And of course, my beverage of choice, a Non-fat Cafe Misto. What a perfect Saturday afternoon!

Yesterday we were busy and I didn’t get my run in so today was a two-a-day. Weather wise we were in a wind advisory so both of my runs were indoors. This morning Rob and I went to the gym. I ran 5 Miles on the treadmill and thend did upper body weights. Afterward we had lunch, I did some reading, and then I ran on the treadmill at home. To mix it up I played with the incline and moved it up and down in .5% intervals.

Here is how the week ended up.

M: 0.82 Miles Warm Up (7:24, 9:02 Pace), 10K Race (Canal Connection, 43:21, 6:59 Pace, 2nd AG)

T: 4 Miles Easy (Treadmill, 1% Incline, 33:49, 8:28 Pace), Push Ups

W: 4 Miles Easy (Treadmill, 1% Incline, 33:41, 8:26 Pace)

Th: 4 Miles Easy (Treadmill, 1% Incline, 33:24, 8:21 Pace), Bike 8.5 Miles Easy (Exercise Bike, P1, L4, 30:00,  17 mph), Push Ups

F: Rest

Sa: 5 Miles Easy (Gym Treadmill, 1% Incline, 42:03, 8:25 Pace), Upper Body Strengthening, 9.65 Miles Easy (Treadmill, 1-3% Incline, 1:21:33, 8:28 Pace)

Total: 37.67 Miles

  1. I love Runners World. 🙂 Looks like a great running week! I really have to get myself in gear again for running. Haven’t done much since my marathon and I have a 5-miler coming up on Thanksgiving! Have a great holiday!
