Just wanted to share with you all some of the sweet Boston items I got while we were there.
Cowbells baby! The Boston one was in my gear bag. The Niketown cowbell Rob and I received for dancing while on the escalator. Apparently our moves are worthy of a cowbell. That or they gave it to us to we would shake our cowbell instead of dancing.
Keychain
Pins
Patches
Water bottle
Pilsner Glass
Boston Mug 🙂
I also added to my Starbucks mug collection. 🙂
I’ve gotten in some easy runs in the neighborhood and two yoga sessions. Each day I’m feeling less sore. I was telling my friends that I haven’t felt this worked since my first marathon. After 2010 Chicago Marathon, I had my heels on and was out and about later that day. After Boston I looked like a dancer in thriller with only half of my body still working. I’m so glad to feel the soreness fading and the easy runs allow me to daydream and soak in how amazing the Boston Marathon was. Like every marathon, the experience becomes a part of me, but Boston had that extra level of feeling, like being a part of history.
My brother and I were actually just talking about how sweet the bags must be at Boston. That looks like so much fun and that is too funny about the cowbells.
Since you are so worked…you clearly worked extremely hard. 🙂

I should have taken a pic. The bag included a water (unnecessary), sweet tech shirt, granola, yogurt bites, cowbell, bumper sticker, and program that was like a thick book being sold around town for $8.

I am so mad I didn’t buy a marathon coffee mug! I collect mugs from all the places I travel! My only regret!
