It’s been such an enjoyable summer with our baby girl. Here are some of our moments from this summer so far.
Chase has enjoyed her first splash in her water mat (although she was apprehensive at first) and now she’s enjoying it at daycare as well.
She LOVED going to Brookfield Zoo on Father’s Day.
I had never been to Brookfield Zoo. It was so much fun, I like the park like setting, which made a very busy zoo feel less crowed and more like a relaxing walk in a park. Rob had been here as a child so he made sure we left with some plastic zoo animal souvenirs to remember our trip. For $2 you get to watch this machine pour melted plastic into a mold and make the figurine. It’s pretty cool! Plus it was neat to get a couple to put on Chase’s shelf in her room and the next time we go back we can add to her collection. 🙂
She loved seeing all of the animals. She was very excited and pointing at everything. 🙂
Even watching Daddy mow the yard is an exciting time. 🙂
We’ve enjoyed a music festival at our company park.
And trips to Lowes or Home Depot are a good time too. 🙂
I’ll be back with a posts on how my training for RNR Chicago Half Marathon is going, our house projects, and my impromptu choice to run Park to Park 5 Miler with Chase.
